Brasco engineers and builds state of the art, modern bus shelters for public transit and companies. For their new product lineup, the company wanted to showcase the style and design of these shelters. With a number of shelters already installed in the greater Detroit area, these shots were all done on location in production environments.
The client was introducing a new line of solar powered bus shelters and needed a night shot on a busy street location.
I wasnt sure how much light the LED’s would cast, so I found my position, locked down the tripod, and shot incrementally from dusk till dark, dragging the shutter to add a sense of motion to the background traffic. Then in post production, merged the best versions in photoshop to get exactly what I needed. Could not have done this with film.
